Sladko kisle perutničke z jogurtovo omakco / Sweet and sour wings with yogurt dip

Obožujem sladko! Rada pečem/delam sladke stvari, rada jem sladke stvari, skratka njam. Tudi meso imam včasih rada sladko, marinirano z medom, sladkorjem, s sadnimi sokovi,  tudi vse skupaj gre.  Te perutničke so kombinacija vsega. So sladke, so kisle, so lepljive, so hrustljave, so božansko dobre, potrjeno !
Prvič sem jih naredila za fanta, ki tako kot jaz, obožuje sladko, odziv je bil nad pričakovanji. Vedla sem, da so dobre, sanjalo pa se mi ni, da so TAKO dobre.  Res toplo priporočam 😉

Zraven sem naredila še jogurtov dip, ki je lepo dopolnjeval perutničke, saj jim je dal malo svežine. Na koncu je tega dipa ostalo še kar dosti (naredila sem ga ful preveč), zato se je porabil kot preliv za solato, vstran metali pa ne bomo ! 🙂

Glasbena podlaga: Overdose

Sladko kisle perutničke in jogurtov dip

Sladko kisle perutničke (recept od tukaj)
1 paket perutničk (370 g)
2 žlici medu
1 1/2 žlice sojine omake
2 žlici balzamičnega kisa
1 čajna žlička rjavega sladkorja
ščepec soli
2 čajni žlički sezama

Vse sestavine, razen perutničk, zmešajte v eni posodi. Dodajte perutničke in jih dobro premešajte v marinadi. Posodo postavite v hladilnik za vsaj 1 uro (najboljše čez noč). Perutničke razporedite po pladnju, marinado prihranite za na konec. Pecite na 220 °C za 30-35 min. Perutničke obračajte med peko. Na koncu jih premažite s preostankom marinade in postavite še za 10 min nazaj v pečico (pečico sedaj nastavite na gril). Zraven ponudite jogurtovo omako in kruh.

Jogurtova omaka / dip 
180 g navadnega jogurta
3 vejice peteršilja
1 jederce česna
ščepec soli
1/2 žlice medu
1 čajna žlička limone

Nasekljajte peteršilj in česen. Zmešajte vse sestavine in postavite v hladilnik. Ponudite zraven perutničk. (Uporabite lahko tudi kot preliv za solato).

Sweet and sour chicken wings with yogurt dip
I love sweet. I like to bake sweet stuff, i like eating sweet stuff, I just love it. Even meat is gorgeous when it`s sweet. And these chicken wings are sweet, and sour, and gorgeous, and njam, they are just perfect. 😉 The first time when I made them, they were for my boyfriend, who also likes sweet, and he was amazed, we where both happy 🙂
I served a yogurt dip with them, just to give it some freshness, Then we dipped our bread in the combination of the sweet and sour marinade and the yogurt dip, and it was… well you can imagine how it was (devine).

 For the wings
1 package of wings (370 g)
2 tbsp honey
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
pinch of salt
2 tsp of sesame seeds

Mix all the ingredients, besides chicken wings, in a bowl. Then put the chicken wing in the marinade and toss it around. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (best overnight). Arrange the wing on a plate (save the marinade) and bake at 425°F / 220 °C for 30-35 min (turning the wings at least twice), then glaze them with the rest of the marinade and put them back in the oven for another 10 min (set the oven to grill). Serve them with yogurt dip and some bread.

Yogurt dip
3/4 cup / 180 g plain yogurt
3 leaves of parsley
1 tsp lemon
1 garlic clove
1/2 tbsp honey
pinch of salt

Chop parsley and garlic, mix it with other ingredients. refrigerate until readay to serve. (You can also use it as a salad dressing).

Biskvitna grmada / Cake(bread) pudding

Kaj narediti. ko imate že nekaj dni star biskvit, ali kruh in se vam srce para ob ideji, da bi ga mogli vreči stran? Naredite biskvitno (ali kruhovo) grmado, kar je samo star biskvit, prelit z mlekom in jajci, v katerega zmešate poljubne sestavine.
Od Aljoševe torte mi je namreč ostalo veliko biskvita, za katerega nisem točno vedela, kaj bi z njim, da ne omenjam mame, ki me je skoraj vsak dan preganjala, naj že naredim nekaj, saj sem navsezadnje le mlada in iznajdljiva 🙂

Nisem imela nekega posebnega recepta, ki sem se ga držala, vse skupaj sem naredila bolj ‘na oko’, rezultat pa je bil presenetljivo dober in kar je najpomembnejše, pojedli smo ves biskvit, tako ali drugače 🙂

Glasbena podlaga: Bones

Biskvitna grmada
star biskvit /potica/ kruh/ žemlje (jaz sem imela za en cel pekač biskvita)
4 jajca
2 1/2 skodelici mleka (pol mleka lahko nadomestite tudi s smetano)
4 žlice sladkorja
2 čajni žlički cimeta
1 čajna žlička muškatnega oreščka
pest pekanov (ali katerih drugih oreščkov)

Segrejte pečico na 180 °C.
Biskvit natrgajte, ali narežite v majhne posodice (lahko vse v en pekač). V drugi posodi zmešajte mleko, jajca, sladkor, cimet, muškatni orešček in vanilijo. Mešanico enakomerno prelijte čez biskvit.
Nasekljajte oreščke in posujte po biskvitu. Pecite približno 20 min.

Cake pudding 
What to do, when you have a leftover cake, or old bread just standing in your fridge, waiting for you to eat it, make something with it, or in the worst case scenario throw it away? You make bread pudding, or in our case it`s more like cake pudding. I did not follow any particular recipe, it was more like what i had on hand, went in the ramekin. The result was satisfying, but what was the most important thing, nothing went to west.

1 old cake base( or the same amount of bread)
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups of milk (half the milk can be replaced with cream)
4 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1  tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup of pecans or any other nut

Turn the oven to 360 °F.
Crumble the cake in prepared ramekins. In a separate bowl mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and pour it over the cake crumble. Chop some pecans, or any other nuts and sprinkle it over the top. Bake for about 20 min.

Rojstnodnevna torta za Aljošo / Birthday cake for Aljoša

Prijatelj Aljoša je praznoval rojstni dan, tako da sem zopet imela izgovor, da spečem torto:)
Naredila sem jo v obliki lego kocke, ker mi vsakič, ko pridem na obisk, kaže svoje gradbene sposobnosti iz legic. Slišala sem, da sem jo naredila rahlo neproporcionalno, ampak banan pač nisem mogla narediti bolj debelih, zato so ti valji na vrhu malo premajhni. Banane se na splošno niso izkazale kot najboljše za mazanje s kremo, ker spustijo vodo in se na njih skoraj nič ne prime.
Sama vsebina je bila super. Biskvit je bil sočen, malinova kašica ravno prav kisla in v kontrastu s precej sladko kremo, ki sem jo namazala okrog. Krema je sicer za moj okus malo presladka (recept naslednjič), tako da se lov za najboljšo kremo nadaljuje. Je pa res, da je super mazljiva in lahko z njo delamo praktično karkoli.



Torta bi lahko izgledala malo lepše, vendar mislim, da smo na koncu vseeno vsi bili zadovoljni z rezultatom, pritoževal se navsezadnje noben ni 🙂

Glasbena podlaga: Open

Malinova torta z vanilijevim biskvitom 

Vanilijev biskvit
4 jajca
1 1/2 skodelice/ 300 g sladkorja
1 čajna žlička vanilijevega ekstrakta
1 skodelica/ 230 g mleka
1/4 skodelice/ 60 g masla
2 skodelici/ 280 g moke
2 čajni žlički pecilnega praška
1/4 čajne žličke soli

Segrejte pečico na 165°C / 325° F.
Stepajte jajca 4 min, nato dodajte sladkor in stepajte še dodatnih 4-5 min, dokler masa ni bledo rumene barve. Na najnižji hitrosti vmešajte še vanilijo. V drugi posodi presejte vse suhe sestavine, nato jih dodajte k jajčni masi in jih nežno vmešajte. V ponvi segrejte mleko in maslo, ravno toliko, da se maslo stopi. Rahlo vmešatej v maso. Vlijte v naprej pripravljena pekača. Pecite od 35-40 min (odvisno od pečice, oz. če vso maso vlijete v en pekač pecite vsaj 1 uro). Odstranite iz pečice in pustite stati v pekaču še 10 min, nato obrnite biskvit na ploščo in pustite, da se popolnoma ohladi.

Malinova kašica
450 g malin (lahko zamrznjene)
4 žlice rjavega sladkorja
nastrgan olup ene pomaranče
sok ene pomaranče
V posodi zmešajte vse sestavine in rahlo zmeščajte, da dobite kašico. Z njo namažite torto.

Raspberry cake with a vanilla sponge cake
It was my friends birthday, so I had a reason to bake a cake 🙂 He loves Legos, so I decided to make him one Lego brick. It was quite challenging, because I have never worked with this kind of cream before. It was a butter cream with white chocolate. It was lovely to work with (do clearly I need a little bit more practice), but it was a little bit to sweet for my taste, so the search for the perfect cream continues. Someone also told me that I didn`t make the little connectores very proportional, but hey, I can`t make bananas bigger than they are, and yes I could have made them with the cake itself, I tried actually, but they wouldn’t come out of the little ramekins, so I just used bananas. As it turned out, that wasn`t the best idea, because the frosting would not stick to them, they also released some water, wich wasn`t perfect, but it was good either way. The birthday boy loved it, so I`m happy 🙂

Vanilla sponge cake(recipe from here)
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup butter (lightly salted)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Beat eggs in large mixing bowl with paddle attachment for 4 minutes.  Do not skip this step!
Add sugar, and continue beating for another 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy.  Add vanilla and stir on low until just combined.
In a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients.  Add to eggs and sugar on low speed until just combined.
In a saucepan, heat milk and butter on low heat just until butter is melted.  Add to batter, beat just until combined.
Pour into two greased and floured pans.
Bake at 325 °F until the middle springs back when touched, or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (about 35-40 min) Remove from oven and let stand in pans for 10 minutes. Then turn out onto wire cooling racks and cool completely.

Raspberry purée
3 3/4 cups of raspberries
4 table spoons of browns sugar
zest of 1 orange
juice of one ortange

Mix the ingredients together, and mash them a little bit. Fill your cake with this purée.
